Hannes Schilling

Director, Screenwriter

Born in 1989 in Erfurt, studied “Audiovisual Media” in Berlin (2009-2015), including a semester abroad at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem (2014). 

In 2015, he began studying directing at the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF.

Further international experience followed with exchange programs at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg (2019) and Prince of Songkla University in Thailand (2021–2023).

In 2024, he completed his Master’s degree with his first feature film, Good News.

In 2025, he began developing his second feature, Zweite Haut.
